Subscription & Billing

Subscription & Billing

The Subscription page manages your workspace's plan, per-user seat licensing, payment methods, and billing history. concorbit uses Stripe for all payment processing.

URL: /settings/subscription
Required permission: Any logged-in user can view the subscription page.

Accessing Subscription Settings

  1. Go to Settings from the sidebar.

  2. Click the Subscription card (described as "Plan, billing, payment method, invoices").

Subscription Tiers

concorbit offers three subscription tiers. Pricing is per user, per month:

TierTarget AudienceKey Features
concorbitSmall teams getting startedCRM, basic Billing, basic Email, Files, Dashboard
concorbit ProGrowing businessesEverything in concorbit plus Vault (encrypted secrets), advanced Email campaigns, Docs, Projects, Forms, Helpdesk
concorbit AgencyAgencies managing multiple clientsEverything in concorbit Pro plus sub-tenant management, automation, analytics, advanced portal, white-label features

The exact per-seat prices are displayed on the plan selection modal and on the Subscription page.

Agency Tier Add-Ons

Agency tier includes additional costs:

  • Sub-tenant surcharge: Each sub-tenant (client workspace) you create is billed at a flat monthly rate per sub-tenant.

  • This charge is displayed on the Subscription page if you have active sub-tenants.

Free Trial

New workspaces start with a free trial that grants full concorbit Pro access. During the trial:

  • A banner at the top of the Subscription page shows how many trial days remain.

  • The banner colour changes as the trial nears expiration:

    • Teal: more than 6 days remaining.

    • Amber: 3, 6 days remaining.

    • Red: 2 days or fewer remaining.

  • Support access is enabled by default during the trial.

When the trial ends, you must choose a paid plan to continue using concorbit. If you do not subscribe, the workspace becomes read-only.

Viewing Your Current Plan

The main card on the Subscription page shows:

  • Plan name and tier badge (concorbit, concorbit Pro, or concorbit Agency).

  • Status: Active, Trial, Past Due, Cancelled, or Expired.

  • Price per user per month.

  • Number of users (seats).

  • Monthly total (price x seats, plus any sub-tenant surcharges).

  • Next payment date.

If your subscription is set to cancel at the end of the billing period, a warning message shows the cancellation date and confirms you retain access until then.

Choosing or Changing Your Plan

  1. Click Change plan (or Choose a plan during a trial).

  2. A modal displays the three tier options as selectable cards, each showing:

    • Tier name and price per user per month.

    • A short description.

    • A feature list (top 5 features).

    • Whether it is an upgrade or downgrade from your current plan.

  3. Click a plan card to select it (a checkmark appears).

  4. Click Continue to checkout (for new subscriptions) or Switch plan (for existing subscribers).

For New Subscriptions

You are taken to an embedded Stripe checkout page within concorbit. Enter your payment details and confirm. You never leave the concorbit URL.

For Existing Subscribers

Plan changes are handled via Stripe's mid-cycle proration. You are charged or credited proportionally for the remaining days in your billing period.

Downgrading

When you downgrade:

  • Access to higher-tier features is removed at the end of the current billing period.

  • Your data is preserved. If you upgrade again later, everything is still there.

  • Modules that require the higher tier will show a lock icon on the Modules page.

Per-User Seat Licensing

concorbit supports mixed-tier seating: individual users can be on different subscription tiers within the same workspace.

The Seats Table

Below the plan summary, the Seats section lists every user with:

ColumnDescription
Name and emailThe user's identity.
Owner badgeIndicates the workspace owner.
Milestone badgeShows if this seat is a milestone reward (free concorbit Pro).
Tier dropdownThe user's individual seat tier, selectable from a dropdown.
PriceThe monthly cost for this seat.

Changing a Seat's Tier

  1. Find the user in the seats list.

  2. Use the tier dropdown to select a different tier.

  3. The change is saved automatically.

Constraints:

  • You cannot set a seat below the workspace's base tier. If the workspace is on concorbit, you can upgrade individual seats to concorbit Pro, but you cannot downgrade them below concorbit.

  • concorbit Agency tier seats are only available if the workspace itself is on the concorbit Agency tier.

  • Milestone reward seats (free concorbit Pro) cannot be changed.

Upgrading All Seats

If your workspace is on the concorbit tier and you want to give everyone concorbit Pro access without upgrading the whole workspace, click the Upgrade all to Pro button. This upgrades every concorbit-tier seat (except milestone rewards) to concorbit Pro.

Milestone Reward

concorbit awards early customers a free concorbit Pro seat as a permanent reward. This seat:

  • Is marked with a "Milestone reward, free concorbit Pro" badge.

  • Always costs nothing, regardless of the workspace tier.

  • Can be reassigned to any user by clicking Move free seat here next to another user.

Monthly Cost Breakdown

The cost breakdown card provides a detailed view of your monthly bill:

  2. In the cancellation modal:

    • Read the notice: your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which the workspace becomes read-only.

    • Optionally provide a reason for leaving.

  3. Click Cancel subscription to confirm.

After cancellation:

  • The Subscription page shows a "Your subscription will end on [date]" message.

  • A Reactivate button appears if you change your mind before the period ends.
