Company Management
Companies represent the organisations your business works with. A company record groups related contacts together and provides a central place to track deals, invoices, files, and notes for that organisation.
Navigating to Companies
From the main sidebar, click CRM > Companies. This opens the company list, which displays all companies in a paginated table.
The company list shows the following columns:
Name: the company name (clickable to open the detail page)
Domain: the company's website domain
Industry: the industry or sector
City: the company's city
Contacts: the number of contacts linked to the company
Created: the date the company was added
Creating a Company
From the Companies Page
Click the New Company button in the top-right corner.
Fill in the company form.
Inline from a Contact Form
When creating or editing a contact, you can create a company without leaving the form:
Click + New next to the Company dropdown.
Enter the company name.
Press Enter or click Create.
The company is created and automatically linked to the contact.

Filtering and Searching
Search
Use the search box at the top of the company list to search by name, domain, industry, or city. Press Enter or click Filter to apply.
Sorting
Click any sortable column header to sort the table. Sortable columns are:
Name: sorts alphabetically by company name
Industry: sorts alphabetically by industry
City: sorts alphabetically by city
Contacts: sorts by the number of linked contacts
Created: sorts by creation date
Click the same column header again to reverse the sort direction. An arrow indicator shows the current sort.
Clearing Filters
Click the Clear button to reset all filters and sorting to defaults.
Pagination
When you have more companies than fit on a single page, pagination controls appear at the bottom of the list. The total company count is shown on the left. Click page numbers or previous/next arrows to navigate.
Editing a Company
Navigate to the company detail page by clicking the company name in the list.
Click Edit.
The edit form is identical to the create form, pre-populated with the company's current data.
Make your changes and click Save Changes.
Deleting a Company
Open the company detail page.
Click Delete.
A confirmation dialog warns: "Delete this company? Associated contacts will not be deleted."
Click OK to confirm.
Deleting a company removes the company record but does not delete contacts that were linked to it. Those contacts will simply have their company association cleared.
Company Hierarchy
Companies in concorbit are flat records, there is no built-in parent/child hierarchy. If you need to represent a corporate structure (e.g. a parent company with subsidiaries), you can:
Use custom fields (e.g. "Parent Company") to reference other companies.
Use tags (e.g. "Subsidiary", "Parent") to categorise companies.
Add notes describing the relationship.
Tags on Companies
Tags can be applied to companies just as they are to contacts. Tags appear on the company detail page and can be used for filtering and organisation. See Tags, Segments & Lead Scoring for details on creating and managing tags.
Linking Contacts to Companies
The relationship between contacts and companies is managed from the contact side:
When creating or editing a contact, select a company from the Company dropdown.
When a contact is linked, they appear in the company's Associated Contacts section.
A contact can belong to only one company at a time.
To move a contact to a different company, edit the contact and change the Company selection.

Tips
Use the domain field to quickly identify companies and avoid duplicates.
Link all relevant contacts to their company so your team can see the full picture of an organisation.
Check the Deals section on the company detail page to see total pipeline value for that account.
Use the vault to securely store client credentials and API keys rather than putting them in notes.
